Dany Garcia - Chairwoman of the Management Committee

Dany Garcia is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of JDM Partners LLC, a Miami-based investment advisory firm that specializes in providing superior investment counsel to high net worth individuals, families and corporations. The firm founded in 2002 by Garcia, provides traditional investment advisory services as well as alternative investment opportunities through the Legacy Partners Growth Fund LTD., an equity only hedge fund, JDM Development, the real estate investment arm of the firm and JDM Entertainment which focuses on investment opportunities within the entertainment industry including film, television and the internet.

A dedicated philanthropist, Garcia is also founder and president of The Beacon Experience, A Foundation for Success. The foundation's mission is to assist in developing outstanding individuals and to provide opportunities for at-risk children to create and achieve their dreams. To this end, the organization is designed to provide both educational and social tutoring to a designated inner-city kindergarten class throughout their primary and secondary schooling. Upon their acceptance into college, the foundation will provide full scholarships for each one of its participants.

In addition, Garcia is co-founder and vice president of The Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation. The foundation seeks to brighten the lives of hospitalized children throughout the nation with toys from "The Rock's Toy Chest".

Garcia serves as a member of the University of Miami Board of Trustees and as a Director of the Florida International University Foundation Board. In addition Ms. Garcia is on the National Advisory Board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She serves as an advisory Board Member for the Nova Southeastern University's Mailman Segal Institute for Early Childhood Studies. Ms. Garcia is currently the Honorary Chairperson for the Mercy Hospital Emergency Department campaign.

Garcia earned a bachelors degree in international marketing and finance from the University of Miami School of Business. She has a 6 year-old daughter named Simone.
